Where It Began
Our story began in 2017 as Alinka's Custom Cookies, a personal creative outlet for Alinka Chalker. Although baking wasn't her first passion, her love for art transformed cookie-making into a unique way to celebrate life's milestones. Through many late nights of self-teaching and overcoming setbacks, she mastered the art of cookie creation — turning every cookie into a heartfelt work of art.
Alinka, now 30, proudly embraces her Mexican roots and lives by the language of cooking. With her supportive husband Tom and her three-year-old son Atom — our official cookie tester — she nurtures her dream of making Rebel Ribbon her full-time passion.
A Sister Joins
On February 14, 2025, a long-held dream came true when Alinka's inseparable sister, Tabata Santiago Kim, joined the venture. At 28, Tabata brings nine years of hospitality expertise from Hyatt, with a keen eye for customer service and sales.
Like her sister, Tabata cherishes her Mexican heritage and infuses that vibrant spirit into everything she does. As a devoted mom to Penelope and Mia — and a passionate plant lover, Tabata adds warmth, professionalism, and an eye for detail to our family venture.
